As I look forward there are things I want in the coming year. I don’t make resolutions per say but I find the best way to be accountable to myself is to write these thoughts down. I want to see them in my minds eye and keep them close. And sharing them with you my wonderful friends means I must make them a reality.

Friends I want to wish each of you a very Happy New Year!
As we look forward for the possibilities of 2025 I want to celebrate the highlights of 2024 - I’m so grateful for for time spent with family and friends.
January we welcomed Tuukka on the 4th, I dress shopped for a dear friends wedding and celebrated my nieces birthday.
February I started my health journey - changing my diet. I was 160lbs and have lost 22lbs so far.
March we traveled to Lake Placid, NY. for the Can/Am Games.
April we celebrated Easter and visited a Video Arcade, client chairs from my workroom, My sister and I visited Washington DC for our cousin’s wedding and popped into the National Gallery for an hour and visited Mount Vernon.
May I visited The Morgan Library (they serve amazing pickles!) and Long Valley Peony for the most magical afternoon.
June we celebrated my sister’s birthday, an upcoming wedding, the solstice, the swim club reopening for summer, visited Doylestown, PA, my son’s 13th Birthday with friends at the Arcade and then with Family at our annual Mini Golf Tournament and Luncheon. He won the trophy with the lowest score!
July we celebrated our nations birthday and mine, dealt with a mystery illness, visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and enjoyed a concert in the park.
August found us in Boston and Newport. Took a day trip to Ocean City, NJ, met my Instapal Melody for the first time, visited Philadelphia with my sister to see the Mary Cassatt exhibit and enjoyed dinner with my nephew.
September was lovely - I got last licks at the swim club, school started and my son played on the field during a Rutgers University football game with his school band, I attended two industry Showcases, had a delicious rooftop dinner at the Montclair Hotel to celebrate a dear friend, took a marvelous trip to Williamsburg, VA with my sister and sewed pillow covers for her from fabric she purchased.
October I attended a viewing of the movie Cabrini at Church, I was inspired with another wonderful industry Design Showcase, enjoyed a Big Green Barn Sale, a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, my dear friends very magical wedding on the beach in CT and Halloween.
November we celebrated my hubby’s birthday, started working part-time for an architectural design firm, I captured a wonderful bright night sky, visited The Morgan Library for the Belle De Costa Greene exhibit, attended my 40th High School Reunion, celebrated Thanksgiving here at the Chalet with a 3+hour Monopoly game, met family for our annual thrifting day at Lafayette Mills Antique Center and decorated for Christmas.
December was a month that flew by. I hosted a luncheon for two dear Instapals, my hubs and I placed lights on the altar trees, enjoyed great holiday displays, marveled at where a cat can sleep, enjoyed our Church Christmas Concert, hosted family Christmas Eve, felt moved at Christmas Day Mass with our son on the altar before heading to my MIL’s for dinner and I enjoyed shopping local after Christmas.
I’m grateful for all these experiences and more in 2024 - Afternoons at the Swim Club, Day Trips, DM’s, Dinners, Get Togethers, Phone Calls, Texts, Vacations.
I’m thankful for my sweet family, my friends both IRL and those dear souls I’ve connected with through social media. I’m thankful for the opportunity to help clients with their homes, I’m thankful for my readers and I’m brimming with love for my husband, son and our cat and beyond delighted to be sharing our lives in our sweet little Chalet.
